Bye followed by bot. Happy with the bot, would have preferred a match to the bye

Hooray! For the second season in a row my team's first Cup match is against another human-managed team from the same "upper" (i.e. TD or D2) level, so that at least one of us gets to be done early!

But, of course, we have to make sure that the multitude of BOT TEAMS get that extra game income from an extended Cup run!

In another game I play they changed the league cup match-ups so that no human managed teams face each other until all bot teams are gone. Works ok except now the complaints are from newer and lower league teams that their potential cup income has been severely curtailed by facing human managed teams sooner.

I know it sucks, but there will be winners and losers no matter what system is used to generate cup match-ups.

But think of what those "newer and lower league" managers are complaining about - a system where everyone would play at least more than one Cup game. That system seems more beneficial than not. It also just might keep more of the experienced managers from quitting the game as well, since it just might prevent them from having to sell off much of the team they likely have spent several years building up. Don't we have too many bots already?

I love it when a receiver for the other team, making $2,873 per week snags a 28 yard reception on 3rd down to keep the chains moving. I would compare this to grabbing a spectator from the stands in the midst of an NFL game, suiting him up and then running him out there for one play and snagging the same reception. Basically, my overpaid squad can't stop a spectator from catching the ball

I had an expected bot stomp. Probably the craziest number from the game was that not only did my HB put up 580 yards but I got another 120 yards from my QB. It may be the first time I have had a QB rush for over 100 yards even if it was against a bot.

Good game Greys.

And THANK YOU SO MUCH match-making game engine!! So I can FORGET trying to build up my team for ANOTHER CONSECUTIVE season - and now AGAIN have to look for creative ways to CUT players instead! @#%$&*!!!!! Yeah, that's GREAT for the "competition". OH, but it's a great thing that there are still BOTS playing each other!

Seriously though, this system really is @#$%&* ridiculous. And, yes, it would still be even if I had won, because that would have been just as unfair to The Greys.

It's absurd how inconsistent my team is. I'm going to have to assume I'm still at least a season away from finally being consistent again. Now the question is only if I can keep above $0 the rest of the way. The GI gods decided to test my money managing skills to the max this season with back to back away games twice in the period of 7 weeks (A, A, H. A, H, A , A) I'm currently coming up on week 3 (Yay, a home game) of this very bad situation
