Looks like the two teams from the North American region aren't doing so well. What do you think we can do to turn things around?

If only that mattered. I mean, other than us being able to gang up on Guru.

I should have time later on tonight to scout a little and see if I could figure out what the problem is. Anything to get someone from NA to win some games.

if either of you can convert to 3-3-5 I think that will improve the overall defense. anything over 2 guys in a zone is a waste, and creates holes in your defense.

Thanks. I'll try it if I can get the right players. I'm not really sure how to play it though. I'm guessing 3 lineman consisting of a nose guard a tackle and an end. 3 linebackers 1 Middle and 2 Outside and 5 Backs consisting of 2 corners one Free/Strong safety and 2 more players. Nor sure where they would play. I've never actually played on a football team in my life if you haven't noticed.

The basic 3-3-5 is played with a RE, LE, NT, ROLB, LOLB, MLB, 2 SS, FS, RCB, and LCB.

However, you can make changes based on your personnel and your opponent. For a great running team, you can play 2 DT's along with the NT and get rid of the ends. Against a better passing team, you can trade on of the SS for another FS.

so safeties play zone and that is it? corners play man to man? as do linebackers on tight ends and slot receivers?

i really have no idea how the defensive engine works. i would love any insight.
