Here you have a point. On the other hand I dont know the schedule but on the season they play each other twice and San Diego is always dangerous so the difficult division could come back to haunt them.

For the time being I'm just happy to see them play well. And Ryan... that pass to Stills was amazing, 60 yds in the air on a line drive, I bet no more than 5 QB in the league can do that kind of things

he is definitely displaying his arm talent and why he was a first round pick.

I was ready to stick a fork in them when they were 1-4 with the only win being that scrappy Cleveland game. But to their credit, they have got their stuff together.

Agreed, good to see them playing better, but Ryan is still horribly inconsistent. That was a great throw to Stills and horribly played by the defender. You can see he was in decent position, but really just didn't believe Ryan could zing it in there like that. Defense looked pretty good, but just not sure if they can dig out of the hole and Ryan is still due for some games like Cutler had yesterday, despite their relatively easy schedule now

I found an article that relays my exact thoughts on Tannehill. Pay close attention to the last sentence.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000739611/article/nfl-fact-or-fiction-is-dallas-king-of-the-nfc-packers-donezo

5) Ryan Tannehill has found it

Oh, he deserves so much credit for turning it around after a horrendous start. In the first five games of the season, the Dolphins QB posted a TD-to-INT ratio of 6:7 and took 17 sacks. Consequently, Miami went 1-4. But over the last four games -- all Dolphins wins -- Tannehill has thrown four touchdowns against zero interceptions and taken just three sacks.

Still, this is fiction.

You can't eradicate the uninspiring start -- or the past four years. Tannehill has evened out his play and was very effective Sunday at San Diego (completing 17 of 24 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns) in a big win for Miami. But I still wonder about Tannehill's overall skills. What does he do well consistently?

Only Oakland and KC have games against SD. There is a reason why SD is 4-6 and the others have 7 wins. They all have multiple games against each other though, with Oakland having the easier schedule and Denver have the most difficult. So one could be hit with a lot of looses. But I can see these three teams going 10-6 or better. Which would rule out any 9-7 team.

As of now Dolphins control their destiny. If they win out they will be in the playoffs. But that's math. Fact is there are very good teams running for wild cards this season so it will be tough, especially with injuries because we lack great depth, especially on the OL but across the board.

If they play this tough through the rest of the season I will be happy regardless of outcome. Just one game at a time.

I'd still like a chance at some of the top defensive talent in the draft this season

I'd like a solid, defensive minded draft. No need to cry over drafting 18 instead of 12. See last year, we netted two starters via trade-down and picked a great prospect.

In 2013 we mortgaged the house to choose number 3 and we picked a tweener who cant stay on the field.

It's not WHEN you draft, it's HOW.

Speaking of how/when and drafts etc, how is Tunsil getting on for the Fins after his slide? Does he see any game time and if so is he performing as expected pre-draft?

Imho as good as advertised. He is the starting left guard from day one and played LT with Albert injured. Missed one game because of falling in the shower injurying his ankle. Has played well with exceptional movement. Against the Chargers when Albert was out he was moved to LT and sparked a couple of big runs with key blocks. I think overall he is the second best rookie OL after Conklin. And so far no more bongs

Very true but I like the Alabama defensive end j believe his name is Allen. But now that they're playing better they should go corner in round one and linebacker in round 2.
