I was impressed with Tannehill. He ran more than I ever have seen him before. And since he is fast and previously a WR, he can take a hit. About time he was used with the gifts he was given.

Vs Seattle game was much closer than expected. They were gifted a few soft turnovers.

Yeah, he ran alright, ran for his life! I was impressed with his TD run and a few other scrambles, definitely his best moments. It's the consistent overthrows, behind the receiver throws, etc that are annoying to watch.

Yeah, the overthrows. Like the 60-yars-in-the-air rocket he placed perfectly into Stills hands. Good try.

No, just google tannehill and overthrows and see what pops up. Did you even watch the game or are you going to just sit back and get all excited about one throw? His stats line looked like a high school quarterbacks numbers. He consistently overthrows and sometimes throws a great pass. He scrambles well and takes a good hit. Some of it may be his receivers not catching well or not setting up well, but I loved his overthrow on the last drive, Stills was at least 5 yards behind the defense, but the ball was another 5 yards beyond Stills..........but hey, at least he's not bouncing balls to his receivers like Kirk Cousins

I watched the game closely.
He had a good game, not great but good. Wasnt too aggressive but coverage was very tight all day (I was impressed by Shead especially). Gameplan was a bit conservative.

He had only one overthrow in the game while Wilson (who notoriously is a pretty accurate passer with a soft touch) had at least 2 overthrow (beside the interception). There were a couple passes who were not perfect but still catchable and an endzone throw to Stills where there just wasnt a window open because coverage (by KJ Wright) was outstanding.

Tannehill had some overthrow and touch problems earlier in his career but he has improved steadily: that's why you usually can find info on him overthrowing Mike Wallace and nothing on overthrowing people more recently.

I know your knowledge of the game is pretty basic but since you like that google research I encourage you to google it (tannehill overthrows) and read the fifth

You may learn something.

Now why would you have to go and try to insult me? Also, why do you think I like to read google? My basic knowledge of the game is just fine, but you're a Miami fan, so I get it. I know about google, but I've never googled tannehill/overthrow. It just sounded funny and I imagined the numerous posts that would be out there. No, I'm talking about this past weekend performance at Seattle. The one in which you marveled at his incredible touch on the long ball. The one in which he put up the following stats line: 16/29 186, QBR 36.1 Rushing: 5 for 17 yds. Dude was running for his life and he did look tough scoring that TD, I will give him that.....but those numbers are mediocrity by definition and not the next coming of (insert great QB of the past). I'm just not impressed, but as I have stated numerous times, I get where some of you Miami fans are coming from. I have to deal with Cutler week in and week out. Man, he can really zing it in there sometimes, woohoo
