On that last drive especially last night, he was great. I will move him into the upper echelon of QB's, but I'm still picking Brady, Manning(Peyton), and a handful of others first.

He's on his way to a great career. But he's still had more talent around him than other Super Bowl QB since Troy Aikman. And Aikman, IMO, was pretty overrated. I could win with Emmitt Smith, that O-line, and Michael Irvin too. Good guy, GREAT competitor, never gives up. All qualities you look for in a good QB. It's just that I don't think he's among the top 5 in the game like the media seems to think he is.

He is the most un-QB like QB in the NFL.

But it seems to work, so good on him.

The reason I made the Aikman comparison was just because the truly great QB's seem to single handedly take their team to the next level. Kurt Warner did it with Arizona, and almost won a Super Bowl. Tom Brady for years had mediocre WR's, but they won Super Bowls mostly on a great passing game. Peyton Manning has taken good WR's in Harrison and Wayne and made them great. I just don't see it out of Roethlisberger. Ward, Holmes, and Randel El when he was there were very good and were the ones to step up on offense, and other than that the defense seems to win the game.

Again, nothing wrong with it. They won, congrats to them. I would take Roethlisberger on my team any day, but only if I didn't have Brady, or Manning, or Warner, or Favre(in his prime), or maybe even a Drew Brees or Matt Ryan.
