Oh but I believe you're mistaken. This year was the year of the bird(Eagles, Ravens, and Cardinals all in conference title games). Next year is the year of the big cat.

That means Jags over Bengals in the AFC, and Lions over Panthers in the NFC.

Now quick, someone go to Vegas and put money on that. If it happens, you can give me a 50% cut of your million.

Lions?! That's a bold bet to be making.

Also one that I wouldn't ever make. That's why I put the a one in a million odds on it.

Actually, the only team I would bet on of the 4 would be the Panthers, although the Bengals and Jags do have some talent for a turnaround. Of course, weird things happen in the NFL, but getting the Lions there would be a miracle.

More just me messing with Baz and her statement about the Dolphins getting there.

I wouldn't say I despise them. Just like to see someone different win from time to time.

That and, although he's from within an hour or so of my home town, I think Ben Roethlisberger is slightly overrated. Good player, but he came into a great situation when he got drafted.

If you are a neutral, why would you want a team that has won it before, over a team that has not?

I can tell you why I am FOR the cards! Kurt Warner played NFLE, and he was a smart guy, likeable. Thats it. So I am not against the steelers, only for the cards...

He had the worse passer rating to ever win a Superbowl.

Exactly. And after that win, everyone wanted to crown him as the next big thing at QB in the NFL.

Now, the guy is tough and wins games. I'd take him at QB. But he has a great team around him in Pittsburgh.
