Week 1 - 30.01.2014[b/]


Group A

Poland is once again among this year favorites to win a medal.They have an offence that bring panic every time they step on the field.This week the unlucky team , to face them , was Serbia , but i think the result is that big because Serbia was playing without 2 OL.An uninspired decision by theyr coach.We have to wait for the second match between these to to see if this game was an accident or not.In the end was a difference of 25 points if favor of Poland.They will face Hungary this week at home.Serbia is hosting Ireland.
Poland 49 - 24 Serbia

Both teams with lost games in the first week , where seeking for the first victory of the season.But only one could win this week.Hungary last week with a loss in overtime in Serbia , start the game a bit hard , as Ireland managed to score 2 TD without receiving any , until the 13th minute of the game.At half time the score was 17-14 for the Irish , and they thought that it will be a good match for them.But after half time , they didn't score in the 3rd quarter , Hungary scored 2 TD , and that was the moment when the game fall apart.Ireland just need to be more consistent and they will be fine.With this win , Hungary climb over the 2nd spot of the group , behind Poland , but over Serbia.Ireland is last.

Group B

The World Champions are in real trouble.After 2 games they are without victory.They could remain home this year.This match was exactly in the mirror.10-7 for Finland in the first half , then , 10-7 in the second half for the same team.Last year Spain beat Finland in the semi-finals of the World Cup 12 , and Finland remained in the end with nothing.I think they are pretty happy to get theyr revenge.A pretty weak game for both teams , offence under 45 PCT for both QB's , also a weak defence.But Finland win the game , with 2 FG more than spain.Next week , Finland host Russia , and Spain host Sweden.

Game of the Week - Magnific game between Russia and Sweden.I think could easily been the game of the week.More than 60 PCT for both QB's , the defence was excelent for both teams also , russian D with 4 sacks , swedish D with 3 INT.Very good game , in my oppinion.The score is showing a a very good Russian team , but a Sweden team , in a perfect condition.There is nothing that the russian could do , for a better result.Sweden was simply better.This two teams swap places in the table , Sweden is now 2nd and Russia is on 3rd.Finland is surprising in 1st , and Spain , yes , the World Champions from World Cup 12 , are last.

Group C

Big surprise in Denmark , when Croatia , managed to beat the local team , not with some very long passes TD , but with consistent sort game passing.Biggest TD pass whas a 35 yard , for them , as Denmark has one of 72 and one of 50 yard , so this score is a bit lucky for the scandinavian team.Croatian defence was also pretty good , with 12 tackes , 1 sack and 1 pick up.At half time the score was 21-7 for Croatia , in the 2nd half the score was 14-10 for Denmark , but still Croatia controled the game , for a very nice , first season victory.Congrats to them.Next week both teams has to travel.Croatia in the Oceania , to face New Zeeland , and Denmark in South America , to battle with Brazil.

Monstrous score late in the night in Brazil.Unfortunatly for the brazilians , the same from last summer , when Germany beat them at soccer with 7-1 was again live.A team filled with old players from New Zeeland , crush them , only allowed them to score , 3 TD , and beat them by 45 points.Not a pretty show for them.Maybe the tactic was not that good , since they where stopped 34 times with tackles , by the New Zeeland defence.Also the New Zeeland QB , was in very good form.This it the most equal group , with all 4 teams with 1 win and 1 defeat from 2 matches.Nobody know who is favorite to qualify.In my opinion , at least one team , could be a surprise.

Group D

Worst Game of the Week - Not a very good start of a season for Netherland dispite this victory over Turkey , they are a bit to weak on offence , but the defence could say that is ok.In this match , they where pretty close to overtime , but with 8 minutes on the clock they scored the winning TD.Turkey must be very uppset but with the current rooster they coudn't do much more.Next week Turkey has a much powerfull match , when they host Switzerland , the World Champions from World Cup 11 , and Netherlands will host Romania.
Netherland 28 - 21 Turkey

Very good start of season for Romania , with 2 victories , over Switzerland and Slovenia.Both games with a bit of luck for them , but a win is a win.They win the first half and lost the second half in both games , lucky for them , with less points.In the match against a very surprising team , Slovenia , good performance from the QB , and a decent performance from the D , with 2 sacks.But in the end the defence was the main reasons to win the game.The stopped the slovenian offence in 2 ocasions to score a FG instead of a TD.Ta table looks like this : Romania in 1st , Slovania just bedind them , Netherland on 3rd , Switzerland in 4th and Turkey last.

Group E

Incredible score in Argentina , when after 3rd quarters of play , the score between Argenina and Czech Republic was 38-0.Lucky for the czechs , in the last quarter they managed to score 3 TD , but in the final , the score was 45-21 for the south americans.Not a very good defence for them , but the defence of Czech Republic was horrible.The offence was the same a mess , allowing 2 sacks and 3 interceptions.To be honest theyr defence managed to close up the gap , with 3 sacks and one pick.Next week Argentina , will host Belgium , and they will try to get the 3rd win of the season.Czech Republic will host Bosnia , as both teams are seeking to break the ice this season.

Belgium with win in the first week , Canada with a defeat in the first week.Both teams with opposite table , but true to be told , both teams played last week with different teams.After this match they are tied with one win and one defeat.GOod match for canada , both offence and defence , for the first win of the season.Canada , after this week managed to climb up a position , over the third place of the group , just behind Belgium.Argenina is the leader , Bosnia is 4th and Czech Republic on 4th.

Group F

After a first week victory over Columbia , Portugal was crushed in the second week by Slovakia , which stated the season with a victory after this game.I think with this result , Portugal is out from the World Cup 13 , cause they still have to play against United Kingdom and France , and with this performance , they cant't beat them.But surprises exist , and maybe they could do some.For Slovakia is another thing.They alson have to play against United Kingdom and France , but with this performance they could do more damage.And also they still have to play against Columbia , so a victory is sure.Next week Slovakia host France , in the duel for the 3nd place.Portugal will face the mighty United Kingdom.

Biggest difference - Weak start of the game for UK , in the match against Columbia , as they managed to score a TD , only after allmost 13 minutes.Columbia also scored one in the first quarter and then nothing the hole game.From the 2nd quarter of the game , was a total massacre.United Kingdom scored 7 TD and received none , for a 52 point win , and a first place in the Group F.After them are Slovakia , Portugal , France and Columbia.

Group G

Early in the morning , at 7.30 , started the second week of World Cup 13 qualification.Australia faces Austria , and there was a tied game until the 12th minute of the game , when Australia scored the 2nd TD for them.Until then , there was a TD for each team.For Austria , the TD scored after 10 minutes of play was the only of the game.WIth no shinning offence but with 54 tackles in the defence , Australia , win the game with a difference of 49 points.Australia 2nd win of the season from 2 matches.Austria only 1 from 2.Next week Austria travel to USA , and hope to keep a little bit close.Australia has a BYe week.

Late in the night , the group was ended in the same way that it started.With a 49 points difference , this time , USA crush Bulgaria and got theyr first win of the season.7-7 after one quarter of play , but after that , USA managed to score seven TD and Bulgaria zero.Good PCT for the american QB.For the defence was a pretty easy game.Australia is 1st , USA in 2nd , Austria get down on 3rd , Ukraine remain in 4th and sadly for Bulgaria , they go to 5th.

Group H

Biggest surprise - Group of surprises.Norway got the second victory of the season , on the field of the silver medallist from last year , Italy , after very weak game from the Italian QB.The second quarter made the difference when Norway scored twice and Italy didn't score.The 3rd quarter was in the favor of italians , but the last quarter was again in the favor of the scandinavians , for a 11 point difference win.I think this is one of the biggest surprise for today.Next week Norway will host Germany and Italy will host Mexico.
Italy 24 - 35 Norway

Mexico win over Germany , and even that it was a BOT offence from Germany , a win is a win , all day long.I think Germany is in a real trouble , cause after two games , they have 2 defeats.The decisive game is next week , when they meet Norway.They need a win , to still hope for a place at World Cup.Mexico is on the first win of the season.Maybe they could do a real surprise and beat a real team.No BOT team , no gifts.Will see in the upcoming games.Surprising Norway is leader , Mexico is 2nd , Italy is 3rd and Germany is last.Norway and Mexico need to photograph this table.

For me , personal , a great defence , is one , that does sacks and INT. In your game , was a total of: 22 tackles , 1 sack and a interception.In the other game , there was a total of : 31 tackles , 5 sacks and 3 interceptions.

Week 3 - 13.02.2015


Group A

Half way there for this group.But at this time , we have all 4 teams with chances at qualification.It is true that for Hungary after this win could be a little easier , but they have to be very carefull.On the other side , Poland , at the first defeat at the season , hope that this lost , doesn't bring another to theyr season.Both teams need two more vicotories from next two games , and both will qualify before the final match of the group , when Poland can get theyr revange.In this match , Hungary dominated the first three quarters and step the foot off the gas in the 4th.But all in one , they controled the game from start to end.Excelent performance by hungarian QB and a good defence for an important victory.Next week , Hungary host Serbia and Poland host Ireland.
Poland 38 - 56 Hungary

Many people say that in this match was a surprise , but it was only the inspired dicision by Irish Coach to chance theyr QB , after the first 2 games.Ireland managed to beat Serbia , for a first win of the season , and the chance to still fight for a place at World Cup 13.Serbia , after a first win in the first week , they've got beaten by Poland and Ireland and now they need to be perfect to qualify for the next phase.Today it was a flow score for both teams , Ireland win the 1st and 3rd quarter , Serbia win's it the 4th , as the 2nd quarter was tied at 21.In the end when the points where counted , the table shows 55 points for Serbia and 56 for Ireland.One big point for Ireland.I think the difference was made in the irish defence , who sack one time the serbian QB and pick up 2 of his attemted passes.Poland lead the group , Hungary just behind them , Serbia and Ireland on 3rd and 4th.

Group B

One of the undefeated teams of this year , till now , is Finland.In a group against the World Champions from World Cup 12 , Spain , Russia and Sweden they managed to beat every single team , and be leaders after half of the qualification.But they need to be carefull , i think they still need two more victories to qualify again at a World Cup.For Russia is even harder , after three games they are tied at 1-2 with the other 2 teams of the group.They need to be perfect in the rest of the season , to be sure that they are qualified.Today the Finland defence was on fire with 15 tackles , 4 sacks and 2 interceptions for the biggest win difference of the season for them.Next week Finland will host Sweden in a Scandinavian derby.On the other match , Russia will host the World Champions , Spain.
Finland 28 - 17 Russia

In the first match of the season for Sweden , they got in overtime with Finland and lost.Then they beat Russia , in normal time.Then again , against Spain , they lost once again in the overtime.This time , the defeat was more dramatic , as the spanish players , managed to recover 17 points in the last quarter , for a first season victory for them.Yes , that's right.Spain nedeed 3 matches to got theyr first victory of the season.To return at Sweden , personally I'm afraid if they bad luck will end , they could win the World Cup.Or maybe they need just a little more consistency.Who could tell ? Only time and the other half of the qualification will answer us.Finland lead this group , with 3 victories from 3 matches.Sweden , Russia and Spain , are tied with 1 win and 2 defeats.Nobody knows who will be more powerfull in the last matches.

New Zeeland after a defeat in the first week against Denmark , they got motivated and win the next 2 for a good half of the qualification phase.This time it was Croatia's turn to get defeated by this old boys from New Zeeland.Maybe it was the early hour that game has started but i think the match from Europe will be much more different , since Croatia is looking very good this year.The europeans have only one victory from 2 matches , but what a victory , against Denmark.I think there still plenty of streght in them.In this match New Zeeland QB display a decent performance.In the other teams the main reason for this lost was the QB , with a PCT a little over 40 % .Defence worked pretty well for both teams , with a little edge for Croatia , which had 1 sack and 1 interception.Both team missed one FG , Croatia managed to score one.Next week both teams will play away from theyr home.New Zeeland will play against Denmark and Croatia will travel over to Brasil.

Brazil isn't looking very good.After a first week victory over Croatia , they've been defeated by New Zeeland in week 2 and now by Denmark.Maybe they need another game against Croatia to win again.On the other side , Denmark after a defeat last week against Croatia , really needed a win , to remain with chances for the next World Cup.Great performance by the danish QB , with final PCT by 64.3 . Overall it was a very good performance by entire Denmark team for a 32 point difference win. Brazil only win the 2nd quarter by a FG , but nothing else.They even failed to score in the 1st and last quarter.I think they need to chance something.Nothing is working for the moment.Denmark also with a great defence with 26 tackles and 2 sacks.It is true that the brazilian defence had a couple of interceptions , but 9 TD's over 60 minutes it is a lot.Maybe they will be better in the next match.New Zeeland lead the group , Denmark is 2nd , Croatia is on 3rd , Brazil is last.

What a day for Netherland.Could also be a bad day for Romania , but that is another thing.Now , Netherland after a defeat in the first week , are the group leader with 2 wins and 1 defeat.In this match Romania failed to score 37 minutes.For the last year bronze medallist this is unacceptable.For theyr coach this was almost the biggest defeat in his career , and it was very close for an retirement from NT coach.But then he remembered that he loves his country more than he can get uppset by a game engine.Beatifull performance by Netherland's QB , he managed to finish with 66.7 PCT. Theyr defence hasn't much work , cause the romanian QB throw the ball out of the stadium very often.Next week Netherland will have a BYE week.Romania will host Turkey and hopes that they will bounce back with a win.

After a BYE week last week , Switzerland had to travel in the Balkans for a match against Turkey.Both teams with only one game in the first two weeks , cause Turkey had a BYE week in the first week and Switzerland in the second week.Both teams with defeats , but at small difference , only one TD.Nice game between these two , as the first and third quarter goes to the Swiss , and 2nd and 4th quarter goes to the balkan team.The 3rd quarter win by Switzerland was the time when they managed to win the game.The scored a TD and a FG and Turkey doesn't score at all.As a said before , good performance by both teams , as they have PCT of 50+ % to theyr QB in this match.The defence where also pretty good.With this victory Switzerland break the ice this season.Netherland are the leaders after 3 weeks.Romania is second , Slovenia just behind them.Switzerland is on 4th and Turkey is on 5th , but both with only 2 matches.

Group E

Nice surprise by Bosnia in this match against Czech Republic , but if we're looking at the coach of Bosnia , that result make a little more sense.Great performance by theyr QB , who finished with a 66 % PCT. The bosnian defence was also great , with 13 tackles and 1 sack and also theyr stopped the opposite offence 2 times from scoring a TD , and the Czech offence had to settle for a FG.All in one , it was the first victory for Bosnia , a very good victory that gave then chances to hope for a qualification at the World Cup 13.Czech Republic has to fight very hard for a place at next World Cup , since they have 2 defeat after 2 matches this season.They really need a victory against Belgium and more important against Canada , before half of the qualification will be over.Next week Czech Republic will travel to Belgiul , as Bosnia will host Canada , for two very excinting matches.

Argentina with the third victory from 3 matches , is one a the few teams that are undefeated this season.Very good performance again by the argentinian QB.Very good passing game for them , with a lot of passing yards and an excelent PCT.The defence was also pretty good , but Belgium who runs the ball , gave them a good advantage.23 tackles and 2 sacks for the argentinian defence.Belgia win the first quarter , but then , something went wrong and the result goes flow in the favor on Argentina.In my oppinion Belgia need to pass the ball more , to be able to retain the margin of the score in a decent limit.But that the coach preference.Argentina lead with authority this group , follow by Canada and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Belgium is in 4th , and surprising Czech Republic is last.

Group F

Two teams that are fighting for the second place in this group.Assuming of course that the first place of the group is also with the name of the UK on it.Both teams played only a game this season. France played against Uk , and lost , but that defeat was in a decent limit and after a very good performance by them.Slovakia managed to crush Portugal last week.So here they are.Facing each other for the 2nd place of the group.France , with an incredible day from the Quarterback , crushed them and they are flying to a new World Cup edition.The french defence was also very good , allowing Slovakia to score only 28 points.All quarters was won by the french for a total victory at every chapter of the game.Slovania had to wait 4 weeks to get theyr revenge for this incredible defeat.France will host Columbia next week , and it will be a pretty easy week for them.Slovania will travel to United Kingdom , for a very tought game.
Slovakia 28 - 63 France

Another big score in this group , after the win from France in Slovakia , United Kingdom managed to win in Portugal for the 3rd win of the season.Good offence for them , they knew when to step up the gas pedal.They won the 1st and 3rd quarter with zero points allowed and that way the difference was made.Portugal failed to score in to many occasion so thay didn't have to many chances to won.Portugal will have a BYE week , but then they will play against France and they really need a victory to still have hopes to qualify at the World Cup 13.United Kingdom seems to acquired the first place of the group.France and Slovakia still fight for the second place.Portugal is 4th.Columbia is on 5th and i think they will remain on that place for a long time in this group.Sorry for them , but this group is to tought for them.

I think is safe to say that this was the worst game of this week.Sorry in advance for the Head Coaches , but theyr tactics and theyr teams performance , show us a very ugly match for our game.It is very well known that the running game is very much dead so it is easy to guess what this two teams played.But let's talk a little about the game.25 % PCT for both QB's , no sack and no interception for anyone.2 TD's for Ukraine , 1 TD and 2 FG for Bulgaria and that how the score was built.It was the 3rd defeat of the season for Bulgaria , from 3 matches.For Ukraine it is the first win of the season.Very much happiness in Ukraine after this victory.Could be the only one , but let's wait the revenge match from Ukraine , when Bulgaria will seek for the win.Ukraine will host Australia next week.Bulgaria will have a much easier game , after a travel in Austria.
Bulgaria 13 - 14 Ukraine

Another crushing victory took place in the USA , where Austria got crushed , to be honest , with a BOT defence , but don't know if that was the main reason.USA team look's again being able to fight for a medal , this year.The first World Champions of the game , and without any title of Champions from allmost 10 editions.They will try to win it again this year , but it will be hard , as theyr main rivals , United Kingdom , looks strong once again.But let's talk about USA.Magic game from theyr QB.Allmost 65 % PCT for a second victory of the season from 3 matches.In the defence they have a lot of tackels , without any sacks or Interceptions.Austria tryed a running game but fall as theyr try to make any moves.Australia leads the group after the first week victory over the USA , with 3 victory from 3.USA is just behind them waiting for the revenge match.Ukraine , Austria and Bulgaria will have to fight for the 3-5 places of the group.

Group H

A very big nation of the game , Germany is also in a very big trouble.Despite this victory from today , they have a very big point difference and they have very little chances to qualify this year.Only 1 victory from 3 matches , and a as i said before a very big point difference.They have 3 matches in which they must be perfect to be sure that they will qualify.Norway on the other side , they are looking pretty good again , for another qualify at World Cup.They only have to win at least one game and they will be fine , and loss by small diffenrence in the rest of the qualification.Good match from both teams today.I think this game it's among the best of the week.Good offences , very good defences.Next week Norway will have to travel all the way to South America for a very important game against Mexico , who isn't the team that gave the match very easy.Germany will face Italy on italian land.

Close to another big surprise from the Mexico team.After the win against Germany last week , they've been pretty close to beat Italy too.They loss , but hats off for them.After the final whistle , the score was 48-45 for Italy.Better PCT for the mexica
