Reminder, you have 49 players currently on the NT roster. You might want to try to add someone to make sure you can get that spot back. I believe the admins have already run the program that clears that, but it's best to make sure early. I don't know if it's policy or lazyness, but they wouldn't run it a 2nd time last season.

If any player retires after the reset you will lose that roster spot. That's what happened last season when a player was fired and went through the transfer list the 2nd time without being picked up. This happened before rosters were locked, but USA NT still had to play with 49 players for the season. So, if you see a NT player on the transfer list only getting minimum bids or no bids, I think it's best to cut him from the team before he goes off the transfer list. I planned to buy the player last season, but others kept outbidding me (though bids remained low). The new owners kept cutting him and at some point, he made it off the list the 2nd time without me realizing it.
It's also recommended to cut any players from division V bot teams as they could be lost at any point during the season if a new manager takes over that team.

Okay, guys -- after going over the roster, it looks like we could really use some new SAFTEYS, LINEBACKERS, DEFENSIVE LINEMEN, and OFFENSIVE LINEMEN.

Otherwise, we're looking pretty good. And we have until Friday at add more players.

But, regardless, don't hesitate to send any player who you think would be a good candidate for the team. Also -- as I'm sure everyone knows -- the squad is getting very old. So we need new players waiting in the wings. For that purpose, if you have someone who you know will be a stud (even if they're a few years away from being added to the roster) please add them to this list:

No way. I'm in III, and I set orders for all my matches including friendlies in advance, just in case. I can't imagine why an NT coach wouldn't do the same.
