I like to think we added some veteran leadership that knows how to win.

And every player that was added to the roster had a better skill set than the person they replaced. The only exception may be the STCB. He was by far the best STCB I saw, but I would have liked his speed to be better.

Youth means nothing on the NT. It's not like we're developing them, we just play them for a few months. Between each cycle, we can get all new ones if we need. Always pick the higher skilled guys for NT, and that's what PHI did. I'm excited, let's go USA!

I will have Debord in good shape by the end of the season. I don't think blocking matters at all unless we are running. I wanted to bump his speed up to 19 first. If you want blocking I will rock on that, he has 19 teamwork, so he goes up fast

Yeah, but special teams are one spot where we can leverage a few roster spots into a big advantage. We don't need 2 backups at each ST position, but a good K and/or KR can help with field position. The G and STCB are also a part of that, and having good players there will help a lot. We have 3 reserve CB's, so I think we can afford to carry a ST specialist. For that matter, we could (in theory) carry two, though I don't know if I'd like to take that risk myself. Expending 7 roster spots to have a group of beasts on ST might well be worth it.

The first problem with carrying two STCB is that there isn't a 2nd one to carry that I've seen. Any CB currently on the NT is just as good as any other I've seen in regards to STCB.

Ok. My point was, more generally, that each ST position is worth a roster spot or two. The calculus is different for a regular team, because paying wages to one player prevents you from keeping another, but the NT has no such problem. But you know that-you've been around 4-5x as long as me.

If this is something you're interested in, my CB Allan Pires is 20 spd, 17 across the boards, 4.5* bpos and also blocking, because when I started the game he was on the OL. Personally, I think kicker is the big difference maker and we are fine there.
