1.yup, just one formation for the game.
2.no plays as yet, though you can almost set up plays by tweaking formation and focusing on run/pass or direction, but yes i realise this is limited..
3.As yet QB remains direct behind centre. no shotgun

Not sure how much you've read in the forums, but the game is still pretty young (only just finished the beta season) so expect further developments.

Hopefully shotgun will be added though, it'll unlock the wildcat formation

False. To use the wildcat, there would also have to a running quarterback option first, and then furthermore a "run-pass option" for the quarterback.

Nothing personal to the devs, but at the rate this game is developed, I wouldn't expect to see anything similar to a wildcat formation for at least a few years real-life-time.

As far as formation goes, how would you set up your team against a very, very, very strong running team (150-200 yards running a game)? I currently have something along the lines of a 4-6 defense, because they only pass maybe 10 times a game.
