I think he means 4 down lineman and 6 linebackers, with one DB in coverage. I could be wrong though

Of course the 46 is going to work. As it stands in GI, passing is pretty pathetic. The 46 (Bear as it's known to diehard NFL fans because of Mike Ditka's success with it in the 80's on the Chicago Bears) is primarily a run stuffing D. If you have 2 very fast OLBs who can cover, the 46 is VERY successful no matter what. The reason it was apparently called that is because the Safety at the time wore #46.

Of course, we can't run a TRUE 46, but that's because we can't stick a SS where it should go. So the Equivalent on here is a 4-4, and I use a SS-Center to help out even more. Here's a Wikipedia link about the 46 "Bear"- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/46_defense

I was playing a bot team though so I dunno how well it will go in the next couple. I'm glad my first games are bots cuz it's helping me get better before I have to face some better guys.
