How important do you guys find Stam ? I tend to reglect it a bit in my training regimes. Prob why I occasionally tend to fall to bits a bit later in the games.

It's something people train at the end of the season to stop going over certain skill levels (to potentially save on salary for the whole next season). That's why there's a lot of talk about it now.

However, it's still pretty important in my opinion so it's certainly something very handy to have in the mid teens at least. That said, I too am a culprit of having pretty low stamina on some guys. It's important, but perhaps behind some of the more essential skills (depending on how quickly you need to thrust new prospects into the frontline).

some player IDs if our national team needs them not from my team I don't have any one ready yet.

458096
1160565
532796
480944 (project racings guy)
466417 (projects guy again)
523127 (bit of a low rating hi speed and strength though)

im not sure if any of these are up to the National team level or if you guys already are aware of these players just trying to help. where ever I can I have the scouting report for jacob groom as well

458096 - good find

1160565 - i'm think of hitting the bid button on this one, but he'll never be a NT player then as i wont have a 18+ skill kicker on my team

532796 - came up yesterday in the future players thread

480944 (project racings guy) - was in the team for a few cycles, better talent out there

466417 (projects guy again) - no go, more players out there with better talent and physicals

523127 (bit of a low rating hi speed and strength though) - is his pos rating maxed out?

keep 'em coming. sure some will get shot down. but you never know what gems you might unearth.

chuck 'em in the futre player thread so all this talk isn't spread across multiple threads.

you can also bookmark these players using the paperclip next to the player name and player id so you can find them easily at a later date.

Serbia, Denmark, Netherlands in our group.

Hahhahahaha, they're having a laugh surely. The only group to have three nations who have trophies, nevermind the fact they all have two...

I realise we're probably not seeded that highly, but teams below us and those who finished second in their qualifying groups still got much better draws imo. Oh well, we'll give it a good go. We're set for tomorrow. Three games in three days!

458096 - Has really poor physicals unfortunately. Also a bit of a 1 skill wonder currently. Could make the team if those physicals aren't capped and he gets his other skills up to the same level as his blocking (he's got the talent).

1160565 - Kicker/Punters are dime a dozen. This guy is certainly a good prospect, high consistency, acceptable talent, great teamwork for rapid improvement. Only problem is, high salary kickers are seen as a waste so we might never see him up to scratch. Extremely similar to Lachie Sellar on the current team but lacking 18 punt/20 kick (but is younger of course). Our #1 is 20/20, 5* BPOS, same consistency and has a few years left at 26

532796 - Has been on the radar for some time. Current guys are better, but will be in contention once they retire if there aren't any new prospects.

480944 (project racings guy) - I was the one who dropped Brodie. He could certainly make it back into the team as a gunner perhaps depending on where his skills go (possibility they go higher now, since project was understandably salary saving). We don't have a heap of depth there, but it's not too important. We've got better LBs so he wouldn't play there.

466417 (projects guy again) - Doesn't have the skills or BPOS. Physicals are ok, but would limit him to G even if the rest was ok

523127 (bit of a low rating hi speed and strength though) - Judging from his experience, I'm going to guess he is maxed out at BPOS. Way too low unfortunately, and skills need some work (though like with every player, skills are more easily improved). Minimum 4.5* BPOS to make the NT with some very rare exceptions (perhaps with G/KR).

im not sure if any of these are up to the National team level or if you guys already are aware of these players just trying to help. where ever I can I have the scouting report for jacob groom as well

Thanks for your work though. It certainly helps. I hadn't seen Jacob Groom before. Even though he might not be up to it, any player with 4.5*+ BPOS and half decent salary we'd like to have a look at. Feel free to bid away on that kicker project. There are a heap of kickers around and I would guess a lot of future candidates too (talents with high consistency but nothing else).

They must be. 1 groups best ranked team is 8th. And we got 3rd, 6th and 7th.

We've beaten Serbia before recently. And Nederlands is up and down in the qualifying. The Danes are the Danes, strong with little weaknesses.

lol, we run on a 3rd and 10 while just out of field goal range. Perhaps we should increase attempts to 50 yards instead of 45? 20 kicking, 19 consistency, 5* BPOS, if that doesn't do it...

EDIT1: Nek minnut, the Archie McLeod express! 54 yards in 3 catches for a score with a little help from club mate Lyle.

EDIT2: Got my answer to the kicking question. 20 kicking, 19 consistency, 5* BPOS, misses a 37 yarder anyway.

EDIT3: Boooo, we couldn't hold out for the final few seconds in the first half and they score. We lead 14-21 as we go into the break, though arguably... we've been better than that scoreline. Eerily similar to the Spain vs UK game.

EDIT4: Got the two td buffer and held them deep in their territory only to throw an interception late in the third. Meanwhile, across the Tasman our comrades are in a real arm wrestle with Argentina.

EDIT5: TAKE THAT! Our defence intercepts it right back from the Danes!

EDIT6: Pity we aren't closing out all our territorial advantages, but points are still points. Mason Lucas proves that he can kick 34 yard field goals with his 20 kicking, 19 consistency, and 5* BPOS.

EDIT7: 58 yards in 3 throws! Territory nerves until Schneider steadies the boat and McLeod scores to give us a 17 point buffer. Not many throws go out to Schneider, but I'm pretty sure he's caught every single one so far including his tackle breaking score early in the game.

EDIT8: 10 point win over a much more fancied opponent. Decent start!

Great job. Surprize win, but wont say no to it.

TE Gale was an interesting choice. Didn't matter if it was right or wrong, as the offense went nuts anywayz.

And we're off on the second game of our campaign!

Perfect start, some good gains from Cartledge and Schneider popping up at the end to grab the short TD throw.

EDIT1: Pinned deep and missed out on a first down conversion by a yard. Defence is not playing well...

EDIT2: But they hold out! Dutch go for it on 4th and 2 and fail!

EDIT3: Defence still struggling. Dutch score late in the first half to make it nervy. Schneider misses a catch, but the man I doubted John Anderson busts some heads for a late equaliser with 5 seconds to go!

EDIT4: Stupid sack halts our progress. Meanwhile, they go 88 yards down in one pass to go 14 ahead. Our defence hasn't turned up at all today, an incredible amount of missed tackles.

EDIT5: This is getting ridiculous. Every single TD they've scored except their first has been a result of two broken tackles. Meanwhile, only one of our TDs has done so as we've more methodically gone down the pitch to score most our tds. Our defence has really kicked us in the balls this game. Come on defence, make a stop!

EDIT6: Just as I edit in the sentence "Come on defence, make a stop!" we intercept the ball! Hopefully we can capitalise.

EDIT7: We've tied it up 42-42, but we still need another stop!

EDIT8: Aaaaaaaand yet another TD conceeded with two broken tackles. This is ridiculous. 12 broken tackles in 7 tds compared to only 2 in 6.

EDIT9: It is so incredibly important we win this one as Denmark is slaughtering Serbia. Results as they stand would put all four group members on one win each. Come on defence, 49-49 so it's your turn to step up again!

EDIT10: Lol, I've fucking had it. ANOTHER two broken tackles. At least it gives us time for a potential equaliser.

EDIT11: One minute left, we've equalised. Can the defence at least make sure it goes to overtime?

EDIT12: Argh, we receive in overtime but go 3 and out and don't punt it very far... Come on defence...

EDIT13: Oh for fuck's sake. Get them to 3rd and long twice, only to then concede 33 and 20 yard receptions. Doesn't look good. Easy field goal distance, only an interception will save us.

EDIT14: Nope. You guessed it, another fucking two broken tackles. Ridiculous.
