Got a few questions aboot training and suchith thereof. How can I tell when I have reached the "cap" on a stat? If I train with a 20 coach, I get 20 training points? If this is true then how are they distributed? Does my wr go to his max speed? Any help on building a powerhouse is greatly appreciated!

It takes 100 training pts to increase a skill 1 pt. All the training pts are split among the skills in the skill group you are training, even if you are focus training. If you focus train, a larger percentage of the training pts go to the focused skill, but some pts are still used for the other skills even if they are capped.
For non-fitness skills, the cap is talent star times 2 + 10. Example, a 3.5* talent player will have skill caps of 17 in all non-fitness skills. These can be increased by up to 3 skill points, but it's more difficult (see FAQ on training).
Speed and strength caps are hidden. Supporters can see the cap once they've reached it. Non-supporters need to track speed and strength training to find the cap. Figure up the total amount of training pts for the player, multiply by .75 (focus training 3 skill set), then see how many training sessions needed to reach 100 training pts. If you have 20 coaches and full fitness center, it takes 3 to 4 training periods to increase speed or strength. If you go this many training sessions and the skill doesn't increase, it's safe to assume it's capped.

Thank you for the reply! Incredibly helpful. Just one more thing tho, can I see the training points or is that available to supporters?

non-supporters can't see training points. I'm not certain whether or not supporters can, but I think they can.

Supporters can see training points levels, and save lineups. In my opinion, if you don't have a lot of time like me, having a supporter account is so worth it and the cost is very reasonable. Give PHI all the credit for how good he does without one, no chance of me being competitive in the game without it though....

What level (high med. low etc) should I be training fitness skills initially? I had it om high to start with, but now my players are knackered and I've had a couple of injuries.

Like projectracing said, normal.
Remember that 100 training pts I mentioned above that you need to increase a skill 1 pt, well, training on high intensity gives you a whopping 6 extra training pts, which is further divided among the skills in the group. Hardly worth losing @ 10 pts of energy.

It would take about 25 weeks of training on high to gain an extra skill pt through training alone. By then, your players energy would be so low that they would automatically rest at least a week and lose a weeks worth of training pts.

Always set to normal. The game gives your players a fatigue penalty once the energy level drops below 90%. Although I have seen some veteran teams train below this level, you will not see there teams near the top of there division unless they are faceing all bots.
