Always train on normal, PERIOD! As everyone has said, you lose energy very quickly and gain it back VERY SLOWLY. NOT WORTH THE COUPLE EXTRA TRAINING POINTS. You will lose those training points x a few hundred more resting those same players to gain energy back later on. Worst option ever put into the game without sufficient explanation to rookies to avoid this pitfall. NEVER train high intensity, just say NO

Yeah, I'm just saying NO now. I just wish I knew before. Luckily I have worked it out with your help before any needed resting and they are slowly regaining energy. It should be ok.

Question regarding coaches. I have started to build my team up over a couple of seasons now. A while back I hired the maximum level for strength and conditioning coaches to build my players in those areas. I am now getting to the point that I am needing to train capped players in other areas.

Does it make sense to start working on having the best coaching in all areas? Is there sense to consider firing the strength and conditioning coaches and hire say maximum defending coaches and start training my team in that area? I guess the question is does it make more sense to try to achieve a top coaching staff in all areas or hire for a specific area and train the team that way to save on wages on the coaching staff?

If you don't need the fitness coaches anymore, you could go without them to save some money, but I think eventually you will need them again. I can't remember a time where I didn't have at least one player training fitness. Myself, I prefer to just keep all the coaches maxed as soon as I'm able to afford them all. The bonuses paid could eat you up if you do a lot of switching around. The only exception to this would be Kicking coaches since so few players require this coach, those players don't require any other training, and the skills only need to be between 8-11 to be effective.

Remember when you get new coaches that you aren't hiring coaches in addition to what you have, you are essentially firing your coaching staff and hiring an all new staff. So be sure and set all coaches to what you want. For example, if you already have 20 fitness coaches and you want to add defending coaches, you need to buy 20 Defending AND 20 fitness coaches.

I only had fitness coaches 20 level and fitness centre. Once near 50% of my players were on physical caps and then training off/def skills, then I brought off/def coaches 20 level and training hall.

For the training hall, the upgrades are instant, so you do the upgrades after the wednesday economy update but before the friday training update. Save some coin.

You'll always need fitness coaches. Cos you'll always have youngsters on your team developing. I have a well developed team with my starters with skills between 15 and up to 19. And I still have 13 players from 48 total training a fitness skill.

Out of 71 players I have 38 on fitness training. If you decide to develop young players or look for those rare 19+ fitness / 4½+ star talented players, you will need fitness coaches.
