When sorting players, I first look at talent, INT, and CON. If I have anybody with 4.5* talent or higher with 17+ INT and CON, he's my QB. If nobody meets that, I'll settle for a 3.5* or 4* until I can find the 4.5*+. All other high talent/high INT players are split between MLB and SF(at least 2). The higher CON will be the MLB, but I'm not sure how much that matters yet. I put a high CON player at PK. For all others, I play them based on SPD and/or STR. I train SPD and STR for all players until I find the caps and move players around based on their caps to find their best position. I may waste some time training them at positions they aren't suited for before I find caps, but you get lucky sometimes and if you don't have ace starters, you're not really losing anything because you have to start somebody. Any players under 3.5* talent are filled into open spots until I can find suitable higher talent replacements, then they are fired.
Unless a player has obvious high INT/CON, it's hard to know the best place to play them until you find spd and str caps. Every other useful skill for each position can be trained up based on talent level, so what they have now isn't that important. The only exception to this is if you buy a player with a skill over 10. At this point, you're paying a decent wage, so it's best if the player can play a position using the high skill.

Ok, I seen Russel Wilson and he's 5'11'' he actually played good against Tennessee. If Wilson can do it, then Hawkins too! And maybe Hawkins gets a growth Spurt before 18 (he's 16 right now) by 4 inches and becomes 6'3'' Does Grid Iron let people that are under 18 grow? Cause if not I'm doing a suggestion for this.......

also what is "SF" safty free? I know MLB is middle line backer.

.

Players do not grow in the game, so feel free to put it forward as a suggestion. SF is a generic abbreviation for safety, it doesn't specify free or strong.
