Just a bit of a "What do you do" kind of thread.

When looking for friendlies and you've just been accepted by somebody you haven't played before. Do you message them and say good luck? Let them know that they are in for an easy ride? Wish them a pleasant day?

As an example;
"Just wanted to say thank you for the friendly acceptance and good luck....

Actually, I just saw your recent results and by 'eck this is going to be a high scoring game. Please note that my players are all over weight, under schooled, overly drunk and most probably still live with their parents.

I hope that has played to your sympathy and you'll go easy on them.

Not at all. I was just curious if others did the same.

I usually say thanks for the game but don't always remember or have the time. It never hurts to be couteous though (unless you're being punched in the face whilst you're being courteous).

I recently was accepted fo a friendly and was very grateful. I have overstrtched myself a little bit too much in terms of my finances so was happy to get the gate money form the friendly. I PMd the guy to thank him, and was left with a really cheeky message to the effct that he was doing it for his benefit and not mine. Anyway...

I also have a question re: friendlies. I don't seem to be able to invite teams to play me? The option is very often 'greyed out'.

I am looking for one at the moment, so if anyone fancies kicking my arse feel free!

Sorry, I also meant to say that the option to place an Ad is greyed out. Why would this happen?
