I like this guy but his vision and Intelligence sucks.

Decent skills for a RB, if you are willing to trust your other QB over this one.

I would train in this order > Focus on Stamina > Which will lead to increase in Speed/Strength by the time Stamina gets to around 8 or so.

Then Vision to 5 and then Agility.

Exactly his vision and intell for a qb are dyer. my other had like 6 and 18 respectively. so yeah i reckon i will go for the swap.

Do they just change best position on their own?

thanks

Not neccessarily - 2 stars = 14 in any skill.

Also, a player with 5 talent may be capped on 10 speed and strength. Your player may have 20 speed and strength. Your player will be better in my opinion

I have just got this player
21 year old 3 star LB
Positioning 4
Vision 4
Intelliegence 20
Footwork 7
Carrying 1
Tackling 1
Blocking 6
Passing 7
Catching 5
Kicking 6
Punting 4
Speed 14
Strength 10
Agility 1
Stamina 7

Teamwork 15
Consistency 11

I don't like the tackling for LB.
I want to train him as a QB,so what is the best way to do it.I was thinking of starting on the Tactical side. How long do you think it will take to get his tactical skills up to say 8 if they can go that far.I just train on average at the moment, would it be wise to increase that.

I'll be interested to see what you guys think.
Cheers

I'm probably a bit more picky when it comes to my players than most managers, but with an Intel of 3, this guy automatically becomes a backup on my roster. If I had to pick a spot to put him at, I'd either A, train up his tackling and make him a DT, or B, train up his blocking and put him on the OL. I do realize that his tackling and blocking are 1, but you could get those up to a respectable 6 by the time you could get his speed up to 13 so that he could play in the other position I was gonna recommend him at, which was HB(since he has decent carrying and agility in relation to his other skills).

Personally, I would never consider training on anything hire than average. Some managers disagree, but I think they're well outnumbered.

I do think QB is the right way to go with him. You asked about taking his tactical skills up to 8, but as far as my training is concerned I concentrate my QB training to vision. It's generally accepted that it's much more important for a QB to have good vision than good positioning. To take his vision from 4 to 8, would take approximately 25 training sessions(weeks) if you don't have any special coaches or the training hall.
