As 4,5/5,0* and 0,5/1,0* quite rare, it might be a bell-shaped distribution. Might be a bell with clusters like: 0,5/1,0 = 5% 1,5/2,0 = 20% 2,5/3,0 = 50% 3,5/4,0 = 20% 4,5/5,0 = 5% But for sure, I don't have any evidence on that.

I'm not sure how rare 4.5/5.0 talents are. There seems to be several teams full of 4.5/5.0 talents. I can only remember seeing 1 or 2 .5 star talent players, but this could be due to most teams firing these players immediately upon receiving them. To be honest, I don't know if there's been enough (any) research into this to even begin to guess what the ratio might be.
