has anybody tried playing a 3-4 instead of a 4-3 and if so, do you find that a 4-3 is better or worse against the run ???

I just switched from a 5-3 (deh, I'm not an AF expert ) to a 3-4 so probably next week I will be able to give you my first feedback regarding this tactic

I don't think linebackers have any coverage responsibilities. TE covered by safety, WR covered by CB or Safeties, right?

So the change from a 4-3 to 3-4 is only effecting the run defense, right?

The safety's can't cover the TE, unless this game is messed up. Ofc the safety's could tackle the TE, but that is only if the TE manage to get further down the field.

I would guess that covering TE is a part of LB's job especially if they are playing zone, but who knows how the game engine works?
Also that Guru suggested that it could be decent for a LB to have catching builds up under this theory.
