So there's around 9 minutes left in the Fourth. Matt Cassell has just surrendered another turnover - Make that 3 on the night.

I wasn't able to watch it, so I don't know what the hell is going on. But it seems as if the Pat's O has just blew up, or the Steelers D has brought the rain!

Anyhow, it's Bye Bye Season even if the Jets lose!

There's still a chance if they win out, but, yeah between the weather and the DE's of Pittsburg, they have made NE look bad

The weather shouldn't be an issue. The boys in Boston are used to it, are they not?

On another note, Cassell - bottled it when it matters the most. As a NE fan, I understand that the guy has made us proud since Brady's absence, but the boy's inexperience was going to show. And what a game to show it!

What happened on the muff catch too?

It was all going so well until we missed that Field Goal

Saw the game. The dropped pass by Randy Moss in the endzone and the missed field goal just before half-time changed momentum.
The muffed kick-off by Slater gave another boost to the Steelers who dominated the second half and the Patriots went on dropping balls and making mistakes.

I would say that the Pats of two seasons ago were built for this kind of weather. Now they got all pass wacky, and when things go bad they go bad quickly. Cold hands = lotsa drops and Pittsburgh is as opportunistic as a defense comes. They had to come back to earth sometime, Guru.

This is the reason why i have always been a fan of Run first teams that dont implode this bad cause i have never known the Pats to be a running team its always pass pass...short slant to welker then a 2 yard run some game plan

What can you do when you do not have much time in the fourth? Against the best run defence in the league?

Also, Sammy Morris has just returned from injury, and Maroney is out....

GLAD to see the outcome of the game even if im not a Pitt fan but Guru im talking about he past seasons Pats like to Pass then pass some more and just so the backs dont complain they run it 2-3times a game

I will always stand behind the fact you need a great defense or a great running game and a good defense to have a Sb Chance and NE hasnt had this for a few years thus zero SB wins
