I have no idea what formations to use on this game, right now I've been using an I formation with the tight end on the right for offense. then a 4-3 defense with a free safety and a strong safety and 2 cornerbacks. Are these good formations or is there something else i can do?

i was instructed on a twin TE and reciever formation on offense. Giving 4 possible passing targets, but this is based on playing other human teams. When faced with a bot team, pound them on the ground.

Defence is 5-3-3. reasoning is the "dice roll" game engine. With 1 middle LB and 1 Saftey, this reduces the chance of missed tackles by said players. Just make sure they are your highest rated tacklers.

Though it is fun to experiment.

use your best defenders on the defense and your best offensive players on the offense.
Either that can become your staple formations or you can change the formations as ur players train/change

If you had four good receivers, that might be okay. If not, you might go with fewer or put the better ones on the left or right and focus on that side of the field.

lol thinking too much the QB still has to decide which receiver to pass to on that side.
