I understand that 10% of training points are lost when I focus training on a particular skill.
I am thinking of training a cornerback that I want to increase tackling and agility. The player has high speed (17 uncapped), but strength capped out low (13).
Currently the defense stats are:
Tackling 3
Blocking 7
Agility 3
Would it be better to focus on Tackling, and then Agility, or I should I keep training all defense skills?
You could train all stats, because blocking is not bad for STCB. The only problem is, that blocking ist much higer then the other two stats. So blocking would increase the wage of the player unnecessary.

So maybe get tackling and agility to around 10 each, and then switch to all defense?

I prefer to focus train, that way I can decide exactly where the bulk (75%) of the pts are going each week for training. I really don't care for my CB's to have blocking skills, I'm fine having STCB's on my team for that role. When you focus train, you do lose 10% or about 4-6 pts if you have full coaches and facilities. Fitness, kicking and tacticals are the only training sessions I use "all skills" on

If you wanna use him as a STCB, then train all.
If you wanna use him as you regular CB in defense, then focus on tackling and agility.
