strength and speed capping

hi guys
sorry to bother you again

how do you know when strength and speed are capped ? (without a supporter account) also does talent have an effect on how high speed and strength can go ? for example a player who has 0.5 talent can he get 19 speed and 19 strength or is that impossible ?

Speed and strength are hidden caps and completely random. They have nothing to do with the talent of the player. If you don't have a supporter account, the only thing you can do is calculate the approx pts they get each week and focus on one or the other (spd or str). Let's say you determine you will get 25 pts if you focus train on speed. Then monitor it for 4 weeks and if it doesn't change, then you're capped. I'm not positive, but I think if you have the GI management studio, it will tell you who is capped by highlighting the player in red. It does for me, but I'm a supporter, so I can't say for sure if Peter's creation trumps the supporter account. If that works, then you don't have to monitor it as I suggested

no. talent does not affect physical skills. stamina never caps, and speed and strength cap randomly. talent affects when the other skills cap though
as for knowing when a player has reached a cap without being a supporter.. sorry todisappoint you, but there's no knowing without being a supporter. based on your coaches (if you have any, so in your case that would be no issue right now), a players teamwork, and the intensity you train your guys with, you can calculate an estimation on when your player should gain a certain skill. ( fo that, bare in mind that the training points are distributed in a weird way. for more on that read the FAQ on training).
you can only get an estimate on how long it should take for a player to gain a certain skill, since like i said the point distribution changes each training.

If you want to figure it yourself, here's what I've found so far.
For all these examples, you must focus train on speed or strength.

A) Full fitness coaches, fully upgraded fitness center, train on average
player teamwork is 1 to 18, at least 4 weeks of training without an increase is needed to know for certain that he's capped.
player teamwork is 19 or 20, 3 weeks

B) Full fitness coaches, no fitness center, train on average
player teamwork is 1 to 10, 5 weeks
player teamwork is 11 to 20, 4 weeks

C) No fitness coaches, fully upgraded fitness center, train on average
player teamwork is 1 or 2, 12 weeks
player teamwork is 3 or 4, 11 weeks
player teamwork is 5 or 6, 10 weeks
player teamwork is 7 or 8, 9 weeks
player teamwork is 9 to 12, 8 weeks
player teamwork is 13 to 18, 7 weeks
player teamwork is 19 or 20, 6 weeks

D) No fitness coaches, no fitness center, train on average
player teamwork is 1 or 2, 14 weeks
player teamwork is 3 or 4, 13 weeks
player teamwork is 5 or 6, 12 weeks
player teamwork is 7 or 8, 11 weeks
player teamwork is 9 or 10, 10 weeks
player teamwork is 11 to 14, 9 weeks
player teamwork is 15 to 20, 8 weeks

The information is already in the FAQ in formula form. I just posted the results given a few variables so that it'd be easier to see what's needed. The players can increase in fewer weeks than shown, but what is listed is the maximum needed to ensure an increase given those variables.

If I'm not mistaken it can only collect that info from supporter accounts
