Has anyone noticed intelligence making any significant difference at OLB spots, not MLB? Just curious as I'm currently debating my options between going 3-4 or 4-3 and my best pass rusher that would be DE in 4-3, or OLB in 3-4, is not the brightest bulb on the tree.
I know the newbie FAQ lists intelligence as a primary for all LBs ... but it also states a lot of other things the community has found are not really the case / aren't implemented yet.
Thanks for the advice in advance!

It should just be MLB.

Good deal, thanks for the confirmation. I've got 2 road scholars to line up at MLB already, hence why I wanted to move to the 3-4.
Hopefully they don't have to show my talented-dolt-of-an-OLB where to line up TOO many times, he gets confused easily.

My best MLB gets more sacks than my best OLB who has higher stats.

I think the game engine only considers the higher intelligence of the two MLBs in a 3-4 defense. So, I don't think you need two smart guys in the middle, although it probably can't hurt.
I'm training two smart MLB, so that I have a good backup in case one gets injured. The plan is for both to be my starters there, but if one happens to get injured and miss a game, I can just stick in the next best LB in the spot and not have to worry about how smart he is.

I saw a post from the admins at one point that said it was 50/50 which got used, then I saw another post that said it was whichever was higher. So hedging my bets a bit.
Also, one is high consistency, the other isn't - so I figure the inconsistent one will make the adjustments when he has a good day, and the other one should work as a safety net when he doesn't - assuming it IS working off whichever is higher 100% of the time.
