thought i'd start the new thread for the new season.

My predictions for the upcoming season;

1st-Phalanx
I think they retain. The squad is very strong and relatively unchanged. One of the best teams in the game who should perform to a high level. May drop one maybe even two games but i think will have enough to clinch the title

2nd-Skive Gypsies
SAdly come in runner up again, but will certainly be up there as a close contender, will prob have a similar record to phalanx and wil push them close

3rd-Juan Renegades
Very strong indeed. a real title contender. these three i think will be clear of the field at the end of the season

4th-Badgers
possibly optimistic from myself. got a bit carried away on the overhaul and sold most of my def. will be playing most of the seaosn with low BPOS starters. hoping that the remnants of a strong offence might carry me through a few of the close games.

5th-Mirastar Saints
regular in the final stages of the regional cup, the team is very solid and well built, but might be time to start pushing the boat out and getting some higher skilled players

6th-Team Zero
Much improved over the past season or so. Might start facing some financial woes as he's developed some of the higher skills

7th-Min.Packers
the man with the enormous squad. has plenty of players and a massive wage bill. the team is still very solid.

8th-Bulldogs
Sorry syborg, i think this season will be a struggle. the massively high level of TD will have some casualties.

9th-English Steel
Again, a solid team but will face the fallout of a very strong division. expect them to bounce straight back up, promoting again next season.

10th-Trainagades
Nice team but might find it tough going in TD. will need a few more big guns


So..that's my 2cents worth, will of course turn out to be completely wrong...i think the top three will be pretty secure and clear at the top, but then it's a free for all below, noone is safe.

Good write up there Stoo, although I'm not so sure I will win again.
My team does have a weakness that is going to take a while to improve.
Looking at the new teams coming into TD, I agree the Renegades look the strongest.

Me? developed higher skills? how did I do that? cos I dnt know. As for facing Financial Woes, Please not this season aswell. I had to sell 30+ players last year to cut the wage bill.

Think I will be in bottom 3 this year based purely on results against other teams in TD this past season, I seem to score freely enough but can't defend. Hopefully I can bounce straight back up though
