Coaches to be fired at the end of the season?

I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that if you have the Coaches you should fire them at the end of the season and then re-hire them at the beginning of next season. Is this true? I've had the Coaches for 3 weeks only if that matters.

If they must indeed be fired, I assume that I have to do it next week before the Wednesday economy update.

Thanks in advance for your help.

A big NO! Do not fire them unless you don't want them anymore. You will have to pay the fee again to hire them and also have 10 weeks salary on hand to do so.

Thanks a lot. It sounds logical not to fire them but you never know, considering that GI is like Alice's Wonderland...weird rules abound and nothing makes sense ultimately.

Actually there was a benefit last season. If there is no penalty to firing your coaches at the end of the season, then it does make some sense to fire the coaches after a training session (Friday at 4:00am), allow one week of economy to reset (Wednesday at 4:00am), and then hire them before the next training session (the next Friday at 4:00am). This will save you one week of salaries for the coaches.

I don't know if the same rules are in effect this season.

That won't work, there is no penalty firing coaches, but the hiring bonus is much higher than the weekly costs, so better keep m than fire and rehire.

^^ exactly. Hiring bonus = about 3 weeks salary, so you'd cost yourself $$$.

Only thing I can think of is if you were thinking about changing around your coaching staff anyways, then it might be good timing to do it?

Serrie amd Gambler are right. It only makes sense if you are planning on firing your coaches anyway.

Why would you fire them anyway? They are not real people...They are just variables to increase the paremeter of your team and why would a different set of coaches do anything different since they are just settings..!!Or did i miss understand it completely?

In order to change the variables, you must fire the current coach and hire coaches with the new settings.
