To respond to the question, I would say that a kicker punter with any skills over 10-12 are just a waste. Find a guy with decent intel 11-20 and very good consistency 19-20, take his kicking or punting to 7, then round out other skills (footwork, agility, vision, positioning) to the same. Then if you're bored or looking for minimal improvement, raise them all to 10-12.........but don't expect tremendous improvement, just higher wages. I'm told strength doesn't matter, but my kicker is 20

Probably strength is a good secondary skill, but i think that in a kicker/punter the secondary skills are not very importants.

i haven't seen any change in k/p since improving secondaries.

punt distance seems to be linked to punting skill rather than str from what i've seen

In spanish FAQ the text is not actualiced, and it still tell that the kick/punt is calculated with the primary skill of the kicker/punter.
In english this text is actualiced and only describe the job of the positions of special teams.

Sorry Peter, I don't recall where it is either, but I most definitely did read that as well.
