Is talent all that really matters for selling players

How do I find out the caps on my players' physical attributes?

The easy way is to buy a Supporter account.

The more labour-some way is to do the math in an excel sheet or something similar. Use the information on how training points are given from FAQ. It is easiest if you focus train.

I value BPOS more than talent for the simple reason that it takes so long to max out BPOS unless your young talented players are playing league and cup games.
If you're regularly competeting for promotion and trophies and your talented prospects only play freindlies it will take about 4 seasons to get a decent BPOS of 4+. Unless they are something special that is way too long.

Talent is important to me, but Intelligence and Consistency are pretty high on the list as well, then strength and speed when I find the caps.

I prefer high talent players with at least 1 high skill of Int or Con. If both are high, I will take lower talent, and the higher they are, the lower the talent I will accept to a point. Talent of 1.5 stars or less are sold or dropped regardless. 2 to 2.5 star talents need to be 20 on both and STR and SPD should cap pretty high for me to keep them.

Of course, my opinions on what players to keep have changed numerous times over the last year and a half, so in a few months, I may have completely different standards. Just a couple of months ago, I was cutting every player less than 3.5 star talent, no matter what the other skills were.

Would any of these be worth selling?

30 yo QB with 4 1/2 *'s, 19 int, 4 con
27 yo OL with 4 *'s, 15 int, 4 con
20 yo Corner with 4 *'s, 1 int, 20 con
17 yo Kicker with 4 1/2 *'s, 11 int, 18 con
25 yo Gunner with 4 *'s, 11 int, 6 con
23 yo Kick Returner, 4 *'s, 18 int, 4 con

These are all my players with 4+ *'s... I figure it'd be best to sell them off if they are worth anything and invest those funds in my program since I really can't reach their potentials anyways for a few seasons

You don't need to no if you're gonna sell him.

I'd put him on the transfer market in about 2 hours and start him at 75k and see what he does from there. That's just how I do things though..lol

Unless you have supporter, figuring spd and str caps takes time. You have to find out the training points gained each training period for the skill, then from that, determine how many training periods it will take to reach 100 training points for that skill. Then monitor the training of that skill for that amount of weeks. If the skill increase, you start over on the count, if it doesn't increase, you've hit the cap.

With full fitness coaches and fitness center, it takes about 3-4 weeks for a focused skill to increase depending on teamwork. Once you find the cap for one skill, focus train the other to find it's cap. Yes, this can be a long drawn out process and is best to create an excel sheet to help with the tracking, especially if you're tracking multiple players.

Also to note is I've noticed most teams get a pretty darn good youth pull within about the first month of coming along, so keep an eye out for that mate.
