When should I time the construction of a youth academy?

I want it to be read after Wednesday at 4:00, but before Friday at 4:00 to avoid the extra week of maintenance. I think if I start on Wednesday after 0:30, it should be ready 15 days later on a Thursday at 0:30. Is this correct?Last edited on 2010-09-06 at 6:14

Do you see more talented players more frequently with an academy, or does that remain completely random? The academy is certainly the last thing I'll buy but I wonder if it's really worth the cost for what you get

knowing the skill values for speed and strength is not worth the price. money is better spent on the stadium or buying a new player on the transfer market.

I didn't double check, but if the youth academy takes 15 days to build and you would like to miss out on 3 weeks of maintenance on the facility, then you would want to build it just after the construction update on Wed (game time) 00:30, but before the economy update on Wed (game time) 04:00. Then you will miss 3 weeks of maintenance fees on the facility. Being that I live in the Eastern Standard Time Zone, those times for me equate to Tuesday at 6:30 PM and Tuesday at 10:00 PM EST.
