Carrying is definitely #1, but I'd like to also add that my entire special teams has been told by the Gator Management to not exceed 12 in any skill or face harsh disciplinary actions. Therefore, I train pretty much every skill, other than (passing, blocking, tackling, kicking and punting) for the position of KR. I see no benefit, just higher salaries for little to no return on the investment. If a 20 carry KR had the chance to return one for a TD, then maybe they'd have something, but right now, my K for example performs just fine at 7 kicking skill! I'll take an average of about 60 yards per kickoff all day. My KR has an 8 carry/8 catching skill and has returned up to 45 yards. Will a top KR do much better? I doubt it, not for the salary you'd be paying

fumbling decreases a lot after like 6 or 7 carrying so you dont have to worry about getting it high. carrying doesnt appear to affect how well the player runs the ball.
