What makes a QB run?

Is it when the play is supposed to be a run and he just doesn't hand it off, or is it when hes under pressure and scrambled off? I can't work it out following some periodic running from my guy today.

Hmm Im sure its most likely when you run.. In my game today, my young star qb scored another TD (just like yours) (5 in 6 games so far), he pretty much scores every time I run against bots...

Personally, I think it's just a random roll with small % (within the rushing attack) and doesn't seem to be effected by the "carry" skill at all.

Yeah, but it seems to roll on passing too.. My starting QB has only played 100% passing and he has 2 TD's in 2 rushes (6 games).. 7 carrying, but as you said, probably doesnt matter

Could be random within rushing or passing, but keep in mind you can only ask for 90% rushing or passing, so it always leaves the 10% open. I've only noticed it when I rush a lot. I've had rookie QB's with 2 skill bust off 50 yd TD runs, as I'm sure others have too

I think QBs run when they get bored and/or cold..

It's a rushing play. QBs won't run on a passing play.

Youre absolutely right looked through my matches and found out I did a 50/50 against a bot team, the very first of the season, and thats where my starting QB got his run td's, just lucky he got 2 in 2

IMO..maybe its if you play the tactic(QB decides) I think thats obvious..maybe i am wrong...

That is only for the direction of play that tactic. Nothing to do with whether or not it is a run of pass play.
