What are these cup matches and what do they mean to me? I'm in Div V and I will be playing a Div III school in a Cup match. Does it matter if I win or lose or is this just more ticket money?

The Regional Cup is a knock-out tournament, so win is a must to get more matches. More matches gives more income

Every season all teams in one area (north america, south america ..) are playing in a cup by knock out rule.

So if you win your next cup game you will advance to the next round, if you've lost the game, you are out of the cup for the current season.

As long you are in the cup, you get extra money for tickets and sponsoring.

Does the winner qualify for next year's AFLC as well?

And in case the winner of the Cup is the same as the winner of the Top Division, then it is the runner-up in the Cup that takes the second spot in AFLC.
