I have another rookie question. Should i trim down my team by firing players, or should i keep most players and develop their skills and maybe sell them later on? I have a fairly stabil economy, and have wages around 110K a week. Currently i have 21 offensive players signed...
Thanks!

Building stadium early is recomended, so offseason wage raises don't kill you.
So is sticking with normal training intensity, to keep players fresh and injury free. Energy levels aren't reset at offseason, so next year could become incredibly painful, should you keep up current training regime.

My training intensity is currently only on average, and i'm building stadium seats the fastest i can ;-)
... But should i keep wages down by cutting players, or will it be better to keep them around for later use? Except for the poorest players, i haven't cut any.
1. Keep players with decent to good untrainable skills (talent, INT, CON, etc.) and train them to find their physicals caps(SPD and STR), put in the positions best suited for them then and get rid of the rest.
2. Keep your roster to a minimum and save money to buy good players later. Replacing players as you acquire better players and getting rid of those being replaced.
Keeping players to sell later on is not a very good idea in my opinion. It's very unlikely that you'll make enough money to equal the amount you spent on wages for the player trying to improve his skills. Not saying it isn't possible, but my experience is it doesn't happen often enough to make it worthwhile.

only need enough to cover positions in an injury early on.

Great, Thanks!
How many players should a keep then? An absolute minumum, og should i plan for injuries on every position? And when should i start buying players? I've read that people think stadium construction is the most important part of starting the game, but im currently leading my "league" and winning games, and would like for it to stay that way ;-)

You have to keep 18 players at least. The game won't let you have less. To have starters at every position, you need 29 (you can use the same player at both K and P). You should also keep extras to cover injuries. If you have players that would be an adequate backup at more than one position, that would be a bonus. I wouldn't be concerned with backups at the special team positions (Gunner or Returner) just focus on backups for the 5 offensive and 4 defensive positions.
As to when to start buying players? That, again, is up to you and when you feel comfortable spending the money. You could get a few decent players cheap as you build your stadium. Play them at special team positions to get their team chemistry up. Sometimes you can get lucky and get some decent players (good talent, INT, and/or CON) for under $5K. I wouldn't spend a lot of money trying to find cheap talent if you go this route. I also wouldn't spend big money on any player until after you have VIP and Exec seats built.
