I'm in the process of building up my stadium. I have consecutive away games in about a month and a half so the plan at the moment is to save up all I can with a view to building as many VIP/exec seats as I can when they come around. However, I was wondering if it was worth building a fitness centre now, as a lot of my players (it being a relatively new team) are training the fitness skills, or to wait until my stadium has maximum VIP/exec - the end of this season if not later

Thanks for any advice guys

Build up your VIP seats, then exec seat until maximum.

You get a lot of money from that, compared to an arena with less seats or equal regular seats.

even in 5th league you will sell out an arena of 40.000 easily.

After you have build up your VIP/exec seats, it depends on your strategy, from my point of view.

Build as many seats as you can while you have the away games. You can build a fitness centre any time and not sacrifice any income.

I wouldn't consider buying a fitness center until you can afford 20 fitness coaches. The bonus gained from fitness center isn't worth it unless you have the coaches for it in my opinion.
I'm also with the buying all VIP seats first. After that, I think it depends on what you want. I don't see anything wrong with getting the fitness center (again, only if you already have the fitness coaches) to start serious fitness training early. But going ahead with all Exec seats is probably the best option since you will be bringing in close to $1 mil each home game with full VIP and Exec seating.

Once the VIP's are maxed is a fine time to get the fitness coaches and fitness center, then complete your execs. You can generally do those both around the same time, since you only pay the signing bonus for the 20 fitness coaches. The 10 weeks salary is only to have on hand to be able to get them signed. Once they are signed, you still have the 10 weeks salary in cash to spend as you like...........i.e. the fitness center.

vip not only have a faster return rate (as in they take less time to pay you back your investment) they also have a higher income rate after that so building vip first makes way more sense.
vip then exec then normal

In terms of training facilities, I don't think those should be build before your coaching i lvl 20. I made that mistake.. The facilities don't have much effect if your coaches aren't elite. The Club Shop is worth considering when you have a small stadium - until you do the math.

I you build the Club Shop and upgrade it fully it'll cost you $550,000 with another $11,000 being paid in maintenance every week. In return you get a maximum of $27,500 every week. This means that it'll take you 33,33 ~ 34 weeks before you start making any money on your Club Shop. And that is the best case scenario. So I say expand your stadium first, pay for some coaching and then start thinking about facilities. That should lead to the quickest way of a) making money and b) improving your training.

/Two cents.

The calculation with the club shop is not a best case scenario. It is the average case scenario. With a good performance in division level IV it have taken me about 20 week to earn back the investment. The rest is very correct Club Shop should be the last thing you invest in. VIP -> Exec -> 30-35k regulars -> club shop. In the period with regular seat investments I would recommend getting 4xlevel 20 coaches (don't bother with special teams coach), fully upgraded fitness centre and training hall.
