Been playing for years but havent read anything about the variances causing the change in before and after on the stats screen of games.
Normally mine stay pretty high but in a recent 73-0 cup win they were all down to one star.
Does anyone have indications of cause?

this is when you have a 70 point lead (or much sooner sometimes), it is called the 'relax rule'. Your players start to relax because they know they have an easy match.
Also, I think the general feeling is that those stat stars are completely worthless and denote no useful information anyway.

I knew about the relax rule but i thought that was just in terms of point scoring.
I just dont want to go into a league or friendly cup game and lose because my stamina disappears and not know why
