So I got this player from the youth draft, by far the most trainable on my team But how should I train him?

Most ppl train fitness but only his stamina is low, so ime thinking traning him in tactics or defensive skills.

Get his catching up and use him as a Wide Receiver. Just my opinion

Keep him at Linebacker - In my opinion, a Linebacker needs more Intelligence than a Wide Receiver....And his Intelligence is a at a nice level on 17.

It's also his Natural Position meaning that he will only get better. Where as if you play him at another position, it will take him a few games to get the same rating that he currently has at Linebacker.

But train fitness or tactical

If you decide to keep him at LB, then I'd train tackling, vision, footwork, or positioning. All are important for LB's, and his are low.

Personally, I would keep him at LB. They can always use speed(anyone can, even linemen) and his intelligence is high enough to be a good one. Train him up, stick him at MLB, and you have a beast leading your defense for quite a while.

as long as you can afford to wait on him I agree, If you are thin at WR and that is a need position as a starter I would think about playing him there.

My Linebackers have low tackling, yet they are the highest tacklers on my team. This proves we are yet to know what skills are the most important at any position.

Stick with Linebacker

Or it could mean that the people your linebackers are tackling have low corresponding skills (i.e. Carrying) Just playing devils Advocate.

It's the nature of the position for LBs to be the highest tacklers, though. Really, it's because LBs are the highest tacklers that we're assuming the tackling rating is one of the most important for them.
