Hi, I'm pretty new to the game (today to be fair!:drink, and was wondering if it's best to keep the squad I have or sell some players to get money together.

If possible, can someone have a look at my squad and see if I have any decent assets that will make me a few quid?

We cannot see the skills and talent of your players, so you'll have to look for yourself

But if you have a 18 or younger guy, with 4,5 or 5 star talent with high consistency and intelligence (18+) you will get millions for him

Selling high talent early on is a great benefit to new teams, as talent can be replaced fairly easily once you get your team situated financially. It's a great source of income to build more vips and execs seats in your new stadium. This will increase your home game revenues. Revenue is very important to getting a team going. With that said, before you do anything, make sure you analyze your team first. This is most easily done by downloading the GI Management feature. Once this is done, you can upload your team and more easily review them by position to see which position they are best suited to play. It would be difficult to have someone else analyze your team, unless you felt like sharing key information about each of your players. That is up to the individual manager. But, there are plenty of topics in the community that deal with requesting the games opinion about different players you may have and where they might play the best. If you don't mind posting your players talent and skills, I'm sure you will get ample feedback on what position would be best suited for them.

I would suggest getting your team situated before you do anything, then look into letting go of some higher talent. There a are a couple ways to do this. You can list some high talent guys for a price you think they might sell for. You can post an ad telling folks you have a player with high talent and negotiate a starting price (this does not preclude other owners from bidding higher though) or you can simply post an ad disclosing the talent and some other key attributes about the player, list them at a reasonable price and let the market determine the value.

so long as you make sure to advertise them in the adds section etc... or even post an add asking for offers before you decide to sell, so you can get a feel for the minimum you will get...

its all about the play off your making.... cash now to get stadium etc moving and so coaches quicker, or hold on to a player who you can build a team around but make the team wait a while longer before you can afford to train them well....

its always going to come down to personal opinion...

Select 11+11+8 players you like and put the rest in the tm/fire em.(You might as well select the names you like the most). Pull rookies and dump them onto the TM etc

If you dont think you can win next season with 3 humans in your division, spend everything on stadium till you think you have built the vip and exec seats.

If you think you can win next season try buying old players that seem good based on the various skill guesses(and yours) posted in the read before you do anything thread.

PS I did neither but I was in a bot div the first season and i knew id win it if i set tactics each game. So I used it purely to experiment.

yep and make sure to ask a lot of questions, most everyone is very helpful. You will find a myriad of opinions and ultimately, you will need to make your own decisions on what is the best way to go
