Hello,

I have just signed up for this game, and read some tipps for newbies in the forum.

Well, it seems the first thing to do should be to expand the stadium, as it is the main source of income. (Starting with VIP seats).

However, I have only one home game left this season, and its in 11 days, so the expansion would not be finished till then.

So my first homegame were i would profit from an expansion would be either on the 19. or 26. of june, depending on the schedule.

So, should I ignore that, and start building some VIP seats, or should i wait till 15 (or 1-2 days earlier), before my homegame, to save some maintainance costs ? ( how high are the, anyway ?)

Welcome to the game and have fun!

First of all: Congrats! Read the infos and great thinking!

You are totally right! Its not worth to build at the moment based on your schedule, so you can save maintenance - money is tight at the beginning.

I would suggest you to invest all your money available into VIP and start with your main stand on 04.06. - since you wont have a home game anyway while constructing, you will even save maintenance while the stand is under construction.

Since there is a week "offseason" (week without league game, only with monday friendly) the earliest home game you can have will be on 19.06.

The schedule for the new season will be released (most likely but earliest) on 09.06.

So i wouldnt suggest to wait for the schedule to decide on building - take the risk for one week of increased maintenance.

On 09.06. you will also get some season money (based on the standing), which also you could then invest in another stand.

Maintenance and Season price money -> its all in the FAQ.

Good Luck.

Thanks for that quick answer.

I new i read the part about the maintance somewhere, but could not find it anymore

Concerning the expansion:
The economic update is on Wedensday, so at the 2.6. in the week of the planed expansion. I am i right, that it does not matter maintenance wise, when i do the expansion anywhere between the 2.6. and the 4.6. ?

As I do it on the last possible day, i propably miss it

Another question concerning the exact time of the updates:
The times / dates listed in the FAQ are server time, but i see only my local time on the upper right end of the window. So is my local time the server time ? Or do I have to subtract/add anything to that value ?

Gruezi an die Schweiz - yes, local time Switzerland is the same with server time, since servers are located in Slovenia.

And you are right you can build anytime after the economic update happened - so even 04:05 Wednesday morning.

You could even build within the time window itself on wednesday beetween 00:30 (construction update) and 4:00 (financial update) on 02.06 and you would save even for the week the maintenance money -> you pay only for staff and facilities that are "active" on 4:00 in the morning.

Since the construction of seats takes 15 days (15 construction updates to be more precise) -> construction will be finished on Wendensday 17.06. 00:30 in the morning - so even timely enough past the financial update.

FAQ -> Construction/Facilities FAQ -> 10. How much is the stadium maintenance?

Welcome to GI

i would advise building as many vips now in one of the empty sections as you cant lose anything if your not making anything from it and then at the end of the season when you get prize money buy as many vips in another empty stand, the sooner they are built the better IMO

good luck and i hope you enjoy yourself

Well, i would have to pay maintenance for the seats. But ok, that seems not to be a very large amount.

More important seems to me the following, correct my if that strategy is flawed:

I want to save money before the first expansion, to idealy bring up to first stand that i expand to the maximum.
As for then, i still have two empty stands to expand during the next season, without loosing income.
Or even better, as AncientGreco pointed out, i can add the Vips to the main stand with the 1000 reg. Seats, as i do not have any home games during the building phase. => still 3 empty stands to expand during the season.

As would expand slowly, and put for expample just 100 or 200 VIP's in one stand, it would be much sooner where i have to expand a stand that has already seats in it, and therefore loose income.

That's the way to do it.

This is the main point:

Expand the "biggest stand" (in terms of possible income) when you dont loose money due to home-league games!
