Injured Kicker :(

He stubbed his toe and is out for 18 days. Luckily got someone to replace him for the upcoming weeks, but kickers getting injured?! bit silly, i have men running into each other day, then my guy on his own kicking air filled balls goes down, is the margin for injury for a kicker lower than everyone else or the same?

Since injuries are not player specific when they are injured (you can never get more than 1 injury per week, at least I haven't heard of it), then I doubt that there is any difference between individual players position and the chance for them to get injured.

must be one of those metatarsal injuries. never used to hear of them when boots were made of heavy leather.

I like to think that all kickers in the game get hurt the Bill Gramatica way.

haha that reminds me of one a football (soccer) player for my team, he was at home watching tele and he stood up to get a beer and tripped on the dog and twisted his ankle, was out for three weeks haha.

Have a look at Maintal Tigers they have two players with 11 days recovery time, so apparently if youre really unlucky you can get two for one

..not necessarily, player injury lengths are random, so they could have been injured a weak or even two weeks apart.
