So guys

The Avs won the SC very early in their existence

But did you know that this isn't all that impressive, considering they had just mover from Quebec, where they had been the 1st seed, and then added Patrick Roy?

They pretty much just bought a championship team, and this is a guy who dished out loads of money, I believe he also owned the Nuggets, and just bought the Rams. Think he also owns some MLS team.

So guys, Roy and Sakic didn't get cermonies during their last game, but after it.

Mike Modano won only one championship with Dallas, but the entire stadium was very emotional his last game. He got a standing O, the refs clapped, and the Ducks tapped their stickes on the ice.

Just proving hom uncool Roy and Sakic are.

And? What do you think the Red Sox did........it happens.

Can't believe I'm defending both monkey and the Avs here. As for A's World Series wins in the last 99 years, yeah. There's 8 of them. 1911, 1913, 1929, 1930(all in Philadelphia), then 1972, 1973, 1974, and 1989 in Oakland. That's more World Series wins in the last 99 years for the A's than the Red Sox in their existance. Nice run up there in Boston from 1918 to 2004......

With all of that said though, monkey still isn't awesome. And Croverja is. Why? Cause he's in the awesome club and monkey isn't.
