Int for O-line?

Hey, Ive been looking around, but I cant really seem to figure out wether or not the o-line needs intelligence.. At the moment my o-line averages around 13-14 int I think, but if they dont need it what so ever there is no point in wasting loads of money for high int when Im getting new ones (need more talent for the long run). So obviously Ive been focusing on getting some with int, but after reading a bit I saw a couple of post where people stated that only the offensive and defensive leaders (QB and LBM I guess) plus the safties need int.. Help me out please

well, as you have seen, admin has said that, as you say it "only the offensive and defensive leaders (QB and LBM I guess) plus the safties need int.."

while intel may help other positions and if so to what extent is unclear... intel cant hurt, but its like everything else, you need to put a personal value on it...

Personally i like intel in my CB's and all LB's, but tope teams disagree with that..... O-line, some peopel will say you need good intel, personally I don't think you do, but as i say, it doesn't hurt.. i have a couple of lower intel guys (under 10 intel) in my O-line, but also some higher intel guys as well....

Ok, I just figured that since o-liners are usually pretty smart IRL, they'd need some intelligence in this game as well.. Do you have a preference of where to place the high int? Say LT or C?

Oh and one more thing.. In the "please dont do anything..." sticky, it states that only the FS needs int, any thoughts on that?

thats a very old sickie, a lot of the stuff in there (player wise) is guess work / personal opinion by players early in the game... the need for intel for safeties was stated by admin more recently

This will need some work....the sticky is based on knowledge from midseason 1...If someone would like to rework it, just let me know

Honestly, until you have some additional stats available for each player in OL (QB hits allowed, sack allowed, pancakes), all the discussion is for nothing, bacause you cannot judge the influence of the skills on hte OL player performance. At this moment you cannot find out, which part of the line is not working well, even it is pretty tough to find out the stats for the whole line for the season and compare it with other teams (only if you extract data for each match to excel table).

It is not only for the stats, the whole sticky is a bit out of date
