Is there any way that I can change this? Or do you think I have the option to start again?

Yes, this puts you on the track to more money in the near future. The bigger your stadium, the more money you get from league games. There is a point of diminishing returns, but it's quite a bit after you have built all VIP seats, then all Exec seats. Depending on your preference you can add coaches, fitness center, training hall, and club shop at some point during the stadium expansion. Most will recommend the first two after all VIP seats are built, and the last two after all Exec seats are built. That's really personal preference though. Just make sure you are generating enough money to cover what you add.

That would be half of 1 section. You can build up to 3500 VIP seats and 9000 exec seats.
Coaches this early is a matter of preference. Some will say get a some coaching, some will say wait. If you decide to get coaching, my opinion is to stick with either fitness and/or defending coaching in the early part. Fitness coaches increase speed, strength, and stamina and have an added benefit of improving players without increasing player salaries in the off-season. Defending coaches increase blocking, tackling, and agility which can improve players at just about every position. My opinion on coaching is that if you get a coach, you're better off maxing out that coach right off instead of increasing it bit by bit. Others feel differently, again, it's a matter of your preference.
Bots use a standard formation, I formation on offense, 4-3 on defense. Players on bot teams are randomly assigned, so most do not play in their best position. This means easy wins for you. Against bots, it's a good idea to run the ball a lot. Because of the easy wins against bots, this gives you time to develop your team. You can find the best place to play your players and let them grow there without taking many lumps in league play.
On players, the positions listed for players are randomly assigned, so this is not necessarily the best place to play your players. At this early stage, it's recommended that you sort your players to find the best use of the abilities and play them at those positions. Over time, those positions will become their primary positions and they will be even better players.
Always remember to schedule a friendly match each week. This gives you extra money and gives your players more playing time to improve at their positions. Until you get your stadium built a bit bigger, play friendlies at away stadiums with good sized stadiums, this gives you more money. You may lose many friendlies for a while, but they don't count against you and the benefit far outweighs a ego hit from the loss. If you need help finding a challenge for a friendly, look in the Ads section on the left, click the friendly games tab near the top. There's usually always someone looking for friendlies. Just find one and challenge them.
