Do talent ratings ever change? Or can I assume talent will remain fix and use it to dump backup players with low talent?

the rating changes but only goes a little higher than true talent of the player. i.e 2* talent could rate to 3* for example with game play but his stats will cap at 2* level. you will find these caps in the rookies section along with other gems of info.

Talent Rating will never change.

Position Rating will change and the maximum position rating a player can get is:

(Talent Rating / 2 (rounded up) + 2.5
