I can tell you which position certainly needs positioning and that is the DB's (safeties and cornerbacks). linebackers also need it cuz they also cover the pass

dont know its purpose on offense but its purpose on defense are very pronounced

Position helps prevent a completed pass, tackling helps prevent a pass turning into a long td.

Well
i thought Positioning and Vision are Tactical skills.
I think Vision is the view for the whole in a footballgame.
So i presume that Positioning is the understanding of
the Position the Player inherites.
So if a Player need to know what he has to do at his
Position, he needs more Positioning.
And if he needs to know whats going on on the field,
he need more Vision.

Thats just m h o

your oline will probably still be able to function without it

Yep, usually in front of your QB and preferably facing away from him ... but not really, I would say that linemen dot need need a great deal of position skill.

If this is anything like real life, offensive lineman need positioning. You have to make sure your splits (distance between lineman) are correct and, depending on the play, your positioning varies, as well.

Now, I have no idea if the devs knew that when they were figuring out skill weights, though.

if this game were anything in real life, speed would have a much bigger impact than it does now. you dont even need speed to win

I guess everyone has there own opinions about the offensive line and or the skills to train to make them more dominate at that position. In my opinion positioning isn't in my top 5 skills for the OL. I would go with footwork, blocking, strength, stamina and then Intel. -IMO-

i would go
Blocking = strength

gap

footwork

intel isnt need, or at least it isnt important for Oline according the creators of the game
