This is a bit of a rookie question, but is it possible to see what is going on in the AFLC if you are not in it? I can't seem to find it. If I am being really thick please be gentle

but, on topic, yes, looking at the AFLC table etc take a little hunting for lol... i know it took me a while to find it...

The winner of the of each region's Top Division and the winner (or runner-up in case the winner is the same as the TD winner) of each Regional Cup playing in a 2 leagues, 8 games each to decide who plays the Iron Bowl final.

Basically it is Champions League.
