If a player has a cap on one of his stats, will it still mean that he will lose skill points in that stat when they reach the age where they start losing it.
(Does it cap it from going down too)

Because i just had one of my oldied go from 13 to 12 in strength, im not too fussed as he's leaving after the end of the season, but i have a few other oldies with higher cap stats, should i be expecting them to go down?

Just a question that i've always wanted to know just never got round to asking it.

I'm pretty sure nobody can drop below 12. So if they have passed 12, then they will drop, at the predetermined rate based on their age, until they reach 12

How does players age influence the training?
The amount of training points players receive each training cycle steadily decreases after the age of 27 and after the players reach 31 they don't receive any training points at all. This is because they need all the training just to sustain their skills. After the age of 31 the players also start to lose points in their physical skills. See the list below for more info.
- Players aged 16 to 27 train normal and lose no points due to their age.
- Players that are 28 years old lose 25% of their training.
- Players that are 29 years old lose 50% of their training.
- Players that are 30 years old lose 75% of their training.
- Players that are 31 years old get no training points. They also lose from 10 to 15 points on Speed, Strength, Agility and Stamina each training cycle.
- Players that are 32 years old get no training points. They also lose from 16 to 20 points on Speed, Strength, Agility and Stamina each training cycle.
- Players that are 33 years old and above get no training points. They also lose from 21 to 25 points on Speed, Strength, Agility and Stamina each training cycle.

NOTE: No player skill can go below 12 because of his age.

So if you have a 30+year old player, you should injure him during training so that his skills dont drop

Yeah i know all this but what i mean is, if a player is capped at lets say 18. In training when he is at the degenerative age, will his stats go back down from 18. Im assuming they do, but i have a player who has a cap of 18 speed who is in the degenerative age and he just doesn't seem to be dropping back down. That was all

He should be going back down, but I'm not sure I'd say anything if I had a player refusing to go back down. The injury idea breaks down when you realize you can't play the injured folks

even if it is capped at 18, you can still try to train him up to 18.99, so he will not decrease to 17 so fast when his skills start decreasing
