There is no way you just picked a 4 star talent player that is almost capped in nearly every skill.

You're probably just looking at the bars under the "Training Details" tab and have mistaken the progress bar colors for if someone is capped or not. Those colors in the actual bar tell you nothing but how far he has to go to increase that skill number.

For example, if he has 5 in catching and has a yellow bar in Catching, he's about 50-75% of the way to having 6 in catching. If he has 5 in catching and has a red bar in catching, he's about 0-25% of the way to having 6 in catching. The closer to green the progress bar is, the closer that skill is to increasing.

If you're looking for skills that are about to be capped, look at the star to the right of the bar. If that star is green in that skill, he is not capped in that skill. If that star is yellow, he is capped, but his skill can still increase with some luck. If that star is red, he is capped and the skill cannot increase.
