Could be a good idea, but I imagine that that would put alot of strain on the server that the guys are using to run this game?

Perhaps a friends list would be more appropiate?

Oh yes, looking the main forum page, but when I enter in a topic I don't remeber the last post I read...
there's forums who use the same system to record all the post you read and when you enter in the same page you can see new posts first!
