hmm...just how many of the people on here work in IT? and why aren't any of us doing any work?

If the REAL ITs would make their job, we wouldnt need any consultants, presales, supporters and so on

Chemical Engineer currently working outside my field to pay the bills after a plant closing in June last year. With the good Lord's provision, I'll be back to using my degree at a Nuclear Power Plant in a few weeks. If not, I'll continue working towards parlaying this job into a chemical sales job, which is sort of like using my degree/education.

Sounds very intersting!

I've just scratched the surface on understanding the plant, but what I have learned is very interesting. A guy I went to HS with got a Nuclear Engineering degree, though he went on to get his doctorate and is now a professor. He would be even more at home in this plant than I hope I will be.

Retail store Manager. Outdoor Sports (climbing, hillwalking etc). My shop is actually 65 miles away so a nice 12.5 hour day for me to drive there and back and work 9-5.30.

Been Asst Manager for 7 yrs though so not going to pass up the opportunity to get this on my CV.

Also Dad of 1, and play FB for my local team Highland Wildcats.

About to go to Germany for 5 days training camp. Looking forward to it as our first game is only 7 weeks away.

I'm a lab technician in the appliance division at GE (General Electric)I work with the engineers, deveoping new models of appliances.

I used to be in the concrete construction field for 25 years and owned my own construction business for 7 of those years.

I eat sleep and drink football and have my own Steelers forum http://steelersal.forummotion.com/forum.htm and website http://steelersal.com/
I played or coached football most of my life and I come from a family of players and coaches. I have not coached since moving from florida to kentucky, 3 1/2 years ago, because of my work schedule.

I am a father of 3 and a grandfather of 2 and I'm only 43 years old.
My kids are 22, 20 and 18 years of age and my grandkids are 22 months and 3 months.

What kind of appliances are we talking about here?

I was talking with a woman last week about maybe doing an internship with Bauknecht, she develops washing mashines. Not sure if that's anywhere close to what you do thou ^^

I handle dishwashers. I am the lab manager in our area.
They do have washers and dryers here also but there are other techs working with those in another lab.
