I have a player who im paying 50k per week in wages.
If I put him up for sale, but buy him myself, will he be on a different contract where I might be paying him less?
I know ill lose a bit of money from tax, but its gotta be worth it to keep my star players but pay them less.
I have a number of players in this situation, should I bid on them myself???

Nope. Salary is always the same and only change in the off-season based on the player skills with a small random factor.

Is that the same if I sack a player, so he is then out of contract, and then buy him again?

I know its not a very professional way of playing the game and I feel bad about it, but unless my cheerleaders start offering extras in the VIP section, ill end up out of a job!

Yes the contact always stays the same for the entire season no matter how you fire, sell, buy him. Firing him might also result in him retiring from professional football.

Selling a player and bying him back wont do you good!

a) You will have to pay the salary fee -> money you cant afford
b) You want have any cut in your salary roll
c) By bying him back, he will start with TeamChem 0,5 Stars -> your playing quality will drop -> you will loose games -> attendance in friendlies will be lower

To be honest -> you must cut drastically your salaries! You are about 650K at the moment with a 15K Stadium -> you have income of around 900K once in two weeks out of home games, but have to pay 1,3 Mio to your players - on top there are for sure some stuff members you have to pay and so on!

You need to part with some high salary players and bring your salaries down to (i would suggest based on your stadium size) to around 400K - then train your players into fitness skills which wont effect your salaries next offseason - all the money you receive invest in stadium build - playing in Div II makes you good for 45-50K Stadium.

Good Luck!
